    Quality Lesser???

What makes a quality lesser? I agree with breeding quality animals to produce quality animals. I really like the lesser gene and want to work with it a lot more.

I have posted a couple pictures of my only single gene lesser. Shes a big girl that lays 9-10 clutches but what I want to know is should I continue my projects with her or find a better girl?

If you think I need a better example of the gene please tell me what makes it better and please share pictures.....I also have several pics of her babies from the last couple years if anyone wants to see them.

    Thanks!!!

What makes a quality lesser is a matter of opinion. Personally, I like them with reduced pattern and pale yellows. I think this girl is a nice looking lesser and I wouldn't mind having one like her in my collection.

    Re: Quality Lesser???

I agree with the_rotten1. It really is a matter of opinion. With some morphs it's more cut and dry. Enchi for example, I think most will agree it should be as reduced as possible. Pastels you want to try to find bright and yellow, not brown. But Lesser/Butter can be either busy or reduced and still be a good example. I prefer bright and reduced but others may prefer more pattern. Here is the example I have. She is het for Ghost which helps with her being bright but she is one of the most reduced Lessers I have seen. I think the one you have is a really nice example of a Lesser. What is it you think could be improved on it? If your answer is nothing, then it is the perfect Lesser.

Bright yellows are what I personally look for, pattern can be busy or reduced, I like both.

Also, that enchi lesser is pretty, but personally the enchi seems to be kinda subtle to my eyes.

    I don't know much about enchi but I figured $100 wasn't bad for a 1300 gram girl.
