    I agree completely! I do not know how common something like this is (too common I'm sure), but prior to specifically searching for it after it happened, I had not come across it before. I am a Computer Scientist/Engineer, I design developmental/proof tests for new equipment. Research is a large part of my job, this translates to my personal life where I over analyze/research everything before I act, much to the annoyance of my wife! Even after spending a minimum of a couple months reading the forum, and books, I never came across this. I can only hope people will see this and either never buy these temp/humidity gauges, or remove them if they already have them. They are not accurate anyway, I only had to give me a rough idea of the humidity.
