Re: Solana - Our Scaleless Sunglow Motley Corn

    Quick update.

Solana ate another small pinkie tonight.

She's doing awesome and really settled in. Totally calm and docile, even when we go to pick her up now.

She's also gotten much less fearful and protective, especially when eating.

Tonight, when I walked up to her tank with the pinkie, she had her head out watching me. When I opened the tank doors, she put her head mostly back in her hide, but was still curious. I shook the pinkie a few times in front of the hide and she came out several inches away from her hide to go after the pinkie. I put it down and she grabbed it and ate it right in front of me and Katie! What a big step for her. 3 feedings ago, she wouldn't take the pinkie if we were watching. Today, she ate with both of us standing in front of the tank. She's getting brave!

So happy how well she's doing and how fast she is growing (knowing full well she has a long way to go).

Katie adores her and takes her out regularly. She's still little nervous about feeding Solana and has cleaned up one poop, but mostly I do the hard work .

Either way, everyone seems settled and happy and I am thrilled.

I do not plan to update every feeding from now on as she is definitely doing well and established.

I will keep updating on her when appropriate and, of course, keep posting pictures, weights, etc!

Thank you all for the support and interest. I look forward to sharing Solana's growth and her life-long journey with us with all of you.
