Cannot get water residue on side of eggs tub and eggs started to dimple day 20

Cannot get water residue on side of eggs tub and eggs started to dimple day 20 from laying...
Dimple is little for now but.... I use the light diffuser and vermiculite. I have ton of water sitting in vermiculite. I used plastic wrap under the cover. The humidity show 99% inside the tub. But there is no water residue on sides of the tub at all... What is going on?

I suspect that your humidity reading is inaccurate.

I would start by looking at where the sensor is located. Make sure the sensor is measuring the humidity of the air in your tub and not some surface it might be sitting on.

If you have another sensor, see what kind of readings you get with that one as well.

With 99% humidity, you should have rain clouds forming in your tub.

It seems to be in tha air and I tried two of them.
But in any case. What else can be done to raise humidity? The water is standing in the vermiculite...

    TBH,

You don't really want water on the sides of the tub - it runs down / or drips on the eggs from the top. It should only condense out if the tub walls are cooler than the air inside. Inside a dialed in incubator that shouldn't happen idealy. As long as the temps are right and you can see freestanding water in the vermiculite ( I mix mine drier than that to be honest - mine clumps if you squeeze a handful but breaks apart easily with no water running out ).

Does the cover fit tightly with the press and seal?

    This incubator. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcos...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
Temp in the room is 80 temp in the tub is 89.5. Water stands and the cover is sealed.
BUT the eggs ARE little dimpled... Thats the problem. Veins are strong and red!

Honestly that is probably one of the worst on the market.

I would replace it with a styrofoam ice chest and a quality proportiional thermostat.

Are you using a different hydrometer and thermometer or relying on what it came with?
