i have a fish store (pretty much only fish) near me and their reptile section bothers me SO much it’s generally overpriced and their enclosures are so small. ive had to yell at the workers a few times cause tortoises have been flipped over

Sounds like they'd probably LOVE to have someone who's "into" reptiles there & doing it for them; sounds like reptiles aren't their specialty, more like an afterthought
& a way to sell more tanks. But it's not "cost effective" for management to have a "reptile person only", too bad.

I've never been a fan of "reptile" tanks...the glass is thinner & often they come with a wimpy sliding top, all of which I hate. I've always preferred the heavier
glass of "fish tanks", they hold up much better because water is so heavy, they have to.

a good base of price comparison is that their 10 gals are $24 and their 2.5-5gals are the same price lol everything tank wise their is roughly $30+ more than everywhere. youre only saving money if you buy an entire kit, stand and all
