Re: Rhino-Jack, 100% Kalatoa SD male retic
Not much new to add. I was vending at a reptile show this past weekend and took my little guy with me for some exposure. The vendor I got him from was also at the show and happened to have another Kalatoa sd forsale but this one was a female. We got to talking and the girl he had was a 17 hold back that his supplier decided to let go. The supplier had produced 2 clutches last year so there is a chance that they were clutch mates. The female was just a tiny bit smaller than my male and her color was a lot lighter than his. I was really tempted to get her but with two expensive snake purchases coming in the near future I couldn't justify the purchase. After the show I realized I should have gotten a pic of the two together for comparison.

I let him do a few lapse around the house last night. Crappy cell pic but 4 tiles 12" each is 48".

I need to snake proof a room and let Rainbow do the same thing. She gets to crawl around on the couch but letting her just go and play is not possible with my house setup. Looking great though.

When I bought him back in September I was told he was 6mo at the time. So I think that should put him roughly at 15 months old now.

Re: Rhino-Jack, 100% Kalatoa SD male retic
The end of his 14 day feeding schedule when he should have been getting fed he went into blue for 2 weeks. So this past weekend after nearly a month he finally got some food after he shed.

How big are you expecting him to get? He is a male and Kalatoa SD. My retics don't care if they are in blue or not. They eat and with tenacity. He is looking great though.

Sorry I missed your question, I never got the email notification. I'm hoping he doesn't gain much more length wise and stays under 5'. I would still be happy even if he stayed in the 5'-6' range. I last weighed him a few days ago and he is 490g. I'm not exactly sure what he is supposed to weigh once he is fully grown. He would probably eat in blue but he just stayed in one of his hides for two weeks.
His daily exercise time tonight he made his way off his enclosure stack in the living room and onto the wall of tanks in my den. He caught the attention of one of my adult female corns.
Very crappy cell pic:
