My only "possessed" snake is a Korean rat snake that I wrongly assumed would be similar to the much-loved* Russian rat snakes (*for their calm nature).
Handling him is more like handling a coachwhip/racer type snake- a light touch needed, too much restraint will get you teeth! From his cage, he is always
lunging if I'm nearby (& yes, he will bite, he's not bluffing); his appetite is robust, & he grabs his f/t mouse violently & pulls it into a hide to consume. Just such
a nervous wreck, even with his cage in the quietest corner of my house. Sillyand he's about 10 years old, btw...not "growing out of it", lol.
