New pet ideas (help wanted)
hi guys so i have the old tank that i originally had my bp in when she was only a baby.
its a glass viv with a mesh top and sliding doors behind the sliding doors is another bit of glass about 3 inch tall ( to hold back the sub straight or even water as its fully water tight below that 3 inch mark.
the tank diameters are 2 foot long one foot high and a foot deep. it may even be a touch smaller than that.
So my question is without having to buy another viv later on is there any reptiles or amphibians that could live in it for there whole lifes? money isnt the issue (eg thermostats heat source etc) its just i have this viv and would like to use it. im a big fan of bioactive i have my ball set up in that an would love to do a mini version. as its water tight i was thinking terrapins but i do think they would grow out of it (tbh not really looked fully into anything yet as hping you guys will give me a direction to go in and from there ill do further research)
i also like the idea of dart frogs but i dont think this viv would suit them. any suggestions would be great
thanks guys

I think you need a tarantula...it goes with your 'name'

My two cents: choose an animal you like and get a suitable enclosure. Don't choose an enclosure first and buy an animal because you have a $20 tank sitting around.

Not wasting something you already have is not an awful thing, but definitely don't get something to fill an open tank "just because".
Although, I can see the appeal of finding out what could be housed there and then deciding if any of those are ones you have enough interest in to go ahead and research/keep.

Thats it i just want to know what is appropriate for that tank I know i could house a tarantula but i dont want one of them. if anyone suggest anything i will look into it but i wont go and buy anything just to fill it.
I may just do a mini bio active set up and not have a pet in there as there something about the tank i like

I understand that but i have the enclosure and just looking for suggestions. if anyone suggest anything im not going to just go out and buy one ill research it, look up pros and cons then i still might not get that. its a nice small enclosure thats gathering dust. ill most likley just put aload of small live plants in it for the visual aspect

Do you plan on adding any new snakes in the future? It might be worth keeping the enclosure handy as a quarantine tank

that had crossed my mind but the only snake i see myself getting will be in about a years time and would be a green tree python. with its small height i don't think it would be an appropriate tank even for a baby. I do want to get dart frogs and will be looking more into them. if the tank isnt suitable for them ill just buy another viv for them. Like i said money isnt the issue it would just be nice to use the tank

Gotcha! I was gonna say maybe a hognose, but it seems you're looking for something else.
Anyway, I hope you get some ideas that interest you. Sorry I couldn't be any help. Good luck!!
