    Male or female?_?

So when I bought my blue eyed Lucy I bought him from the same breeder as 2 of my other ball pythons and he was sold as a male. Even though I’ve had him for about a year or so I’ve never thought to sex him. Well.. I did today and nothing came out, yeah I know what to look for and seriously I didn’t see any hemipenes come out I checked my other snake which is male and they popped out so idk lol I would include a pic but I can’t take a pic by myself lol

I know that some snakes have smaller hemipenes and are harder to sex using the pop method. I don't know how accurate probing is but I would advise it before making a final decision

You are probably not doing it right.

To properly ever the hemipenes you need to be proficient at it especially with an older animal that has more muscle control.

Your fingers need to be placed properly and the right pressure must be apply which is why having someone showing you how to pop is best, after that it's all about practice.
