They need the stimulation of proper lighting and/or natural sunshine, and they need some pretty warm temperatures for basking. When they aren't warm
enough, or don't have the right photo-period, they get the "blahs"! It's also possible he's not healthy, and maybe he came to you that way. Good thing the
owner is coming back soon.
