    Substrate help

I currently have repti bark. It holds humidity well but temp wise not so well. Heat lamp dries everything out. Any suggestions? Would space heater in the room help at all?

Sorry, 10 gallon aquarium. I have a UTH, tried a heat lamp as well but really killed the humidity. I've covered half the top with foil to keep it humid.
