    Looking for a new scale

The scale I’ve been using to weigh my bp is glitching out constantly and was in the market for a new one and thought I would get recommendations here! I prefer shopping on amazon just so I can get it quicker but if anyone had any suggestions even if they’re not on amazon they’d be much appreciated!

Re: Looking for a new scale

I can’t remember te brand. But I bought a postage scale that will go up to 25# in 0.1oz increments then up to 50# in 0.5oz increments. It was around the $20-25 area. I got it for both shipping stuff and for the short tail pythons. You can get one with a smaller weight window and finer increments for just ball pythons.

I've got the EK5055 from Walmart. It was about $20 and can weigh in grams, ounces/pounds and kgs, up to 11lbs. It has a nice flat, wide plate but it's still compact. I haven't changed the batteries in it the four years I've had it, so I recommend it.

Cant get it faster than just walk into Walmart and buy it. Works great with a 6qt tub sitting on it. If the animal covers the display, you can set it to "hold".

I've been thinking of getting a new scale too. I was considering something like this:

    http://www.amazon.com/JOOKKI-Hanging...+digital+scale

Our fellow member @Zincubus mentioned it in a thread a while back. Just toss the snake in a snake bag or pillowcase and weigh. No worries about the snake moving around, climbing off the scale, finding a big enough bowl for them to sit in, etc...
I'm thinking it'll be much easier for bigger snakes. But, even at 800 grams Tyson is tough to get on my plate style kitchen scale.
So, I may get one of this style, but I'd be shopping around before buying. Just wanted to see if this style might be something OP might like.
