I don't currently keep BPs but I have a little Aussie spotted python that loves & can frequently be found in her humid hide; she needs it to shed well, but
clearly she just likes it too. I've given similar humid hides to my corn snakes too...again, they like & use them for more than just shedding. Unless your
humid hide is super-saturated (swampy!) I don't think you'll have any problem...I sure don't. They do dry out & need the moisture replenished, but as long
as your snake isn't soaking wet, I know of no problems. I vote for leaving it.
