This is what we actually ordered. It's a bit pricey (we paid $170 but it's currently listed at ~$208), but if I'm remembering right, Wayfair has a ton of tables with perfect 48"x24" dimensions. We just received our 4x2 BoaMaster about a week ago, and it fits perfectly on this table.

This looks great!
3 questions for you...
1. Does the cage sit on top of the posts as well as the shelf (is it 4'x2' including where the posts are)?
2. What height posts are you using?
3. Do you think the wire shelves would pose a problem when using heat tape on the bottom of the cage?
I've been looking for a solution to put my two stacks of AP cages on casters and this might just be the ticket. From their description, it sounds like these would hold enough weight for a stack of cages.

You can look into fish tank stand, that's what I use for my AP cage. Strong and sturdy since they are supposed to hold heavy aquarium and gives a nice height.

Re: Suggestions on AP Stands / Cabinets
It's not super visually appealing, but I use a folding thick plastic and metal table (like a long heavy duty card table) that I found at a yard sale. I just bought a nice table cloth and put that over the table / under the cage and let it hang down almost to the floor when we have company. Other than that I use all the space under the table for supplies and storage.
No cage is too large - nature is the best template - a snoot can't be booped too much

Re: Suggestions on AP Stands / Cabinets
I found this shelving set from HomeDepot to be very nice. Gives the ability to store things below and choose the height of your cage or stack of cages as long as you dont mind the bars up the sides. (If you mind, you can still use it at around 2.5 or 3 feet as the base height where the top of the first set of vertical bars falls around there.)

Don't mind the mess. This is 3 AP T8s (not occupied yet). They fit perfectly between the bars as long as you set them down from the top. (Can't be slid in from the front, but it will prevent sliding off the shelf once it's set up as a handy benefit.)

That's only half the shelf set up. I'm planning to put the other half next to it for some other cages. I'm seeing it right now for $85, and you can essentially get 2 stands out of it.

1. Yes, 4x2 includes the posts
2. These are 14” tall posts but the casters add about another 6”
3. Not necessarily. I have three long boards 1”x6”x72” acting as risers under this cage because the posts extended slightly above the height of the shelf, leaving a gap between the bottom of the cage and the shelf top. Otherwise the center of the cage isn’t directly supported and could possibly sag. I just painted them matte black so they match the cages. Ideally I’d use a sheet of plywood so there’s full contact along the entire bottom of the cage which would also ensure the heat tape was in full contact with the bottom of the cage
And yes, they’ll hold a ton of weight. I’ve currently got two T8s and a T25 on this rack/cart/shelf with zero issues. Large casters roll easily on carpet as well

Re: Suggestions on AP Stands / Cabinets
Well after weeks of searching for the perfect size to fit my AP T10....I decided that it was best to reach out and have someone build a custom table. It turned out beautiful and was a lot cheaper than most of the tables I saw online. It’s 48 x 24 x 36.
