Pattern lookups
Is anyone aware of a resource that talks about various markings and helps identify genetics? In example, there are sites that help you identify trees by the leaf shape, pattern, etc ...
I am looking for something that talks more about the alien heads, Cheerio’s, banding, etc. colorations would help too. I have found sites that show tons of pictures of different genetics, but it’s a bit tedious to go through 1000 images.
Another example is that several of my snakes have aliens heads, some banding, some with what would be alien heads but no eyes ...
I know what the breeders tell me and I can identify various obvious things, but when it comes to having the head for the alien but no eyes and also banding over the dorsal ... knowledge is power.

Right, but you have to go through them all and look at the pictures and compare.
Another example is a rescue I took in was said to be a yellow belly and that’s it, which I believe, but it has banding and no alien heads. If I could find more about typical “normal” pattern variations, that would help.
Like, here are 10 pictures/descriptions of various patterns of “normal” ball pythons.
