I just throw frozen 16.9 ounce water bottles in the cages. Did it last summer. just had 2 per cage on hand and the equal amount in the freezer so i could just swap out as needed. I do wrap them in paper towels though so the paper towels soak up the condensation and get wet and the frozen bottle will keep the wet paper towel cool.
