OMG, zina10...that guy sounds SO creepy, I'd have hauled my tail right out of there. People have been known to disappear after meeting ppl like that...

And I'm with you, I thaw rodents in water and I can't believe it would taste or even LOOK ok...unless you'd been eating kimchi or something else with a
strong taste. I guess she can skip her probiotics for the next week now?

Yeah, I did get a bit of a funny feeling. He lived quite remote and it was just us and him. And that gigantic compost pile!!! LOL

All that talk about "bodies", too.

Those insects he had (for lizards I guess?) were in huge crates, too. I don't doubt my friend AND I would have fit in one just fine. I guess it must have looked just like the beginning of a horror movie, haha. The two girls and the creepy man with the compost and insects. I was really glad when we were out of there !!!
The furry water, though, that was the cherry on the cake!!

I was SO glad I didn't drink that. My friend has great will power, although her eyes were sort of watering while she talked to him and filled out the check. I think I couldn't have helped myself and would have hurled right then and there !
