agreed, I always started my hatchling corns on mouse pinks. Stubborn starters usually always took a meal when placed in a very small brown paper bag with a live pink (in case you have any issues).

Side note - I had never seen 'food charts' for snakes in my 20 years of keeping until I came to this site. I don't think it's the norm. Generally, it's always a feeder no bigger than the widest part of the snake's body.
