The zilla and zoomed one are really just overpriced garbage.

Also OP, didn't see in the thread if you are aware of the difference, the cheaper tstats are on/off, which allow for (in my experience) at least 4 degrees of fluctuation in temperature. The Herpstats are proportional, which means that it regulates the amount power going to the uth, allowing for far less fluctuation in temps. Besides all that, the herpstats have better safety features

Hmm you’re about that, I thought that was good part about the tstats. I’ll do more research for the herstats. Have you heard any reviews about the exo terra 300 watt and 600 watt t stat?

I have had better luck with jumpstarts than the exo 300w, both are on/off except had way more fluctuation with the exo terra. The 600w exo is proportional, and kind of seems like a cheap version of the Herpstat what with night/day mode and all, but I can't imagine it comes anywhere close to the quality, reliability, and safety of the herpstat. Also, though it is expensive, the herpstat 4 has 4 probes/inputs and has so many other cool functions so if you can afford the investment now I would say go herpstat.
