Alternatively I can put them just on the front side wall on top of the glass door or on the front top ceiling of the enclosure. In theory can do it on the back wall/ceiling (like Gio's), but would require a new hole in the side of the cage to run it through, which I'd rather not do unless it's really the best option.

Also, strip has 3M sticky backing, but have heard that with high humidity it doesn't stay well long term. So I was gonna hot glue gun it along with the sticky side. This is for a boa, who likes to climb around. Don't want to use staples or screws.

What do y'all think I should do here? Sorry if it was confusing. Thanks!
The adhesive strip and also hot glue method has worked great for mine for the last few years .
Just put the strip were the snake isn't going to be able to easily climb/ slither over it constantly.
