Radiant heat panel issues

Ive unplugged the RHP from my thermostat and ran it unregulated and achieved a temp in the 80’s. Does this mean my RHP is defective when regulated or could it be my thermostat?

If the surface of your second RHP only reaches 80 degrees, contact Reptile Basics for a replacement. They are reasonable with warranty care.

If however it is reaching the temp they get unregulated when you plug it in directly and not through the herpstat, then you have your second probe on the herpstat that is regulating it placed wrong or the settings configured wrong.
