    If the surface of your second RHP only reaches 80 degrees, contact Reptile Basics for a replacement. They are reasonable with warranty care.

    If however it is reaching the temp they get unregulated when you plug it in directly and not through the herpstat, then you have your second probe on the herpstat that is regulating it placed wrong or the settings configured wrong.
