Re: The great Outdoors..
Draconis has done the suicide jump when I had him out a few days ago, luckily it was only to the bathroom counter and that was less then a foot lol I honestly think this guy is way underweight looking at the cresties at the show and looking at everyone else’s. But he eats and poops on a regular basis gave him a horn worm the other day and gobbled that right up so maybe more worms will help fatten him up. Zina ur boy is so adorable with his facial expressions lol

Oh, I think that ship has sailed !!! I have given up trying to be good. Everyone on this forum is EXCELLENT at making you want MORE.
I gave myself the excuse to want something naturalistic and pretty to look at while at the desk. Worked a little to well, as I sit here and stare at him a lot of the time. LOL.

I don't think yours is underweight, some of the one's I've seen seem a bit overweight/chubby !! Might also be females laying eggs, though..
While the smoothies are the healthiest and perfectly fine on their own (from what I've been told) I do believe the bugs pack on the weight faster. But then again, no need to rush, they live for a long time so letting them grow slow and healthy can't be a bad thing

Well, I’m a bit apprehensive now that I came across your original thread where it was brought up about males and their “happy time” tendencies and beanie babies...
I googled it and came across stuff like this. Is that what you all were referring to???

I do have to say, It’s almost as funny as the noises male Russian tortoises make... if you haven’t googled that.

LOL, yeah, that and "happy time with themselves".
Then again, mleedee has said that doesn't really happen all that much. I originally decided on a male because I didn't want to face the possibility of eggbound females and all the issues with them laying eggs (which they do whether you have a male or not)
That was before I found out about happy time.
But..if it ever comes to the point where Smeagol wants happy time, I shall avert my eyes and give him privacy, LOL !!!
