im thinking about getting my ball a new tank like a 40 or bigger gallon, and i was gonna get a new herp for the 20L. what are some good snakes that wont outgrow a 20L?

I'd pick a kenyan sandboa. Corn snakes also. You can check out my thread here.. there's some good suggestions there.

I have an idea ... why not pick out an animal that you actually WANT and get an enclosure to fit the animal? You could trade or sell the 20 gallon to offset the cost.
Buy what you want and like and not something just to fill an empty tank.

Actually in the future I plan on getting a yellow anaconda definetly not a green though can you imagine the pooh left behind from a 25-30 long snake? :shock:

i think i might look into sand boas, i think i could set up a cool desert cage 8). and i could keep it in a 20L for its entire life. do they eat rats or mice?

They can eat either or! Babies will be on mice pinks then as they grow you can switch to rat pinks and so on....
