Ive noticed a couple more threads talking about Tylan lately and I wanted to give this one last update. The snake in question is still doing amazing and is my best eater. She is over 1,000 grams now and since the Tylan injections has never shown a sign of RI again. If something changes with her health or the RI comes back I will update this thread, but it has been almost a year so I can conclude that she suffered no visible side affects and was healed fully.

Re: Ball Python RI gone! Tazicef, F10SC fogging & the cure TYLAN..

    Hi BrianDallek,
I actually just went and picked up some tylan 200 today. I had a friend who was nebulizer a male mojave of ours and he used a combination of tylan and liquimycin and did this for about 2 weeks and he got better. But not 2 months later the male got the RI again and unfortionaly we didn't know and it spread to another but I don't know how to dose them. I'm hoping you still view this forum and are able to help.

So you plan on treating snakes not knowing if you are really dealing with a RI, and if you are dealing with a RI you plan on treating not knowing what type of RI you are dealing with and what anti-biotics will be best suited?

Might be a cheap move for now but definitely not the smartest one.

Sorry you feel that way but I do know what RI I is and I know what I'm dealing with I only asked about the dose. Before going out there and giving options it's much nicer to ask questions than to assume. Than you so much for commenting.

Question Re: Ball Python RI gone! Tazicef, F10SC fogging & the cure TYLAN..

    Hi Brian D,

I know I am a few years late on your post but I am trying to be proactive with my pied boy in case he ever gets an RI.

Can you please help me figure out the correct dosage? Example: He weighs 233 grams so how much would he need now, hypothetically?
Also, what kind of needle should I use? I have access to needles since I work in a hospital. And I know its a subcutaneous injection as well.

If you can help me out, I would LOVE that!
I love my pied boy so much and don't want anything to happen to him.

    Welcome to the forum Sperry.

I wouldn't hold your breath on a reply. The OP hasn’t made a post in well over 3 years.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
