I spend most of the time trying to slowly slide the door open opposite the side they are on and then shove the food in there on big BBQ tongs haha. I have had Caesar literally shoot out about 2 feet with mouth open out an open door to get a guinea pig that i hadnt even put in yet. I jumped back, fell over a chair but still had the tongs in my hand with the guinea pig on the end of it lol.

The little ones are so cute to feed as they are like a mini version of the big guys but i can hold the rat tail and basically hold a little snake ball in the air haha.....until the mouse/rat tail skin slides off.
I work hard in her conditioning now. She is removed for handling and I have someone else place food in her enclosure. When she returns to it she looks for food now even on days I don't feed. Not sure if I'd the right way when she is older but works great for now.
