    Correct me if I'm wrong though, I believe you've fed your snakes Quail before, is it the same process as thawing out a rat? Do you ever cut the beak off to be safe?

    No need to cut the beak off. Your snake will know what to do. Mine loves quail so much, he often knocks the head right off! But he always goes back for it
