I have one big Albino female that has a bad shed almost every time, and I also have a few mousers. I feel your pain. I have a big girl that just laid 7 eggs and she won't touch a rat, pre-killed or live. Has to be mice. And I have a Pied girl that is also a mouse only snake. It's tough because usually they won't accept more than one or two mice and that's it so they stay pretty skinny. I try to feed a couple mice more often to get them up to weight but it's a pain. If you can get them on rats you'll do much better but it's not always possible.
Personally I'd switch to Prococo or Reptichip. They come in a big compressed block that expands when you soak them in water. Personally I like the 'Chips' the best (vs. the Coir or Fiber).

And here's how to expand a block:

I have her humidity at 60% as often as I can keep it there . I have her hot spot 85-90 and her cool spot at 75 she had multiple hides and always clean water .
*Her weight on 3/23/18 (258Grams) keep in mind I fed her on adult mouse 3/17/18
*Her weight today 4/2/18 (226 grams) I gave her a warm bath for about 30 mins yesterday with the wash cloth (temps not too hot and not too cold ). She still has residual shed on her ......
So my questions for you guys are these
Should I offer her a mouse today and try to get her weight back up before I try to get her on to rats ? Or should I keep with trying to switch her now ?
I've been going through the same feeding issues that you've been dealing with. I've been trying for awhile to convert from f/t mice to f/t rats but my boy just doesn't seem interested. I've tried scenting like you mentioned and he seems interested but never strikes. At one point, I decided to give up and concentrate on putting some weight on him. He's now at 400grams and I decided to try again last week w/ the same results. I'll try again this weekend but I might just have to accept that he might be a mouse eater. Speaking of which, can BPs still reach there potential size feeding on mice?

Been having a few issues w/ humidity myself... would you consider 90% humidity to be too high? I had mine up to about 80% once and it really worried me, but if keeping it up there helps with shedding, would you recommend it? As in, have you seen any negative effects (ie. scale rot) in keeping the humidity that high? What humidity do you normally shoot for?

Yes but you will need to feed multiple mice.

That's fine but I would like to understand how and when to start this process. For instance, my BP is around 400grams and I've been feeding him adult mice which weight around 30 grams. At what point do I introduce a 2nd mouse?
And a bigger question is how to go about this? He has shown to be a picky eater at times so I've taken steps (feed at night, low lighting, etc..) and if he takes it, I walk away and don't present myself until the next morning. If he doesn't take it after several tries, I leave it there until the next morning and it's usually gone.
So at what point would I offer that 2nd mouse? Would it be too late and present possible digestion issues if I offered the next evening?
Thanks!!!

If she takes one right away, offer another. I would feed only mouse one on those picky days.

Out of curiosity, what are you using as a heat source?
I have belly heat on there hot side and I have 12” heat tape back heat in between their hot and cool sides using herpstats to regulate . Thank you for all your info !
