    Securing Thermostat Probe?

    Mine is set up just like yours , it was bought from a very experienced guy who presumably knew his stuff .

    The probe doesn't have to be touching or be that close apparently as the main temp is the hottest surface temp and that's the one you focus on when you adjust the thermostat dial .
