    Securing Thermostat Probe?

    I spray everywhere, it's not there long enough to do any damage unless you go crazy and there's water lying around in pools.

    In your situation, have the probes coming through a hole about 6" / 15cm off the floor on the back wall level with the ceramic - if that makes sense .
    Then I adjust the stat setting accordingly until the desired surface temp is reached - checked with a digital temp gun ( ten quid/ dollars off eBay) . The probe is hot-glued securely in place .

    There are a few places it can go but the theory is the same for all .
