I commented on your other thread about the fire girl, but just saw this too.
Just a thought: if the person you got the animal from is misidentifying morphs they could also be misidenifying females using only the popping method. I've heard enough stories about a "female" being popped by the seller and sold as female only to find out later it's a male and the hemipenes just didn't pop that day.
