I am single, no kids, and my animals are my only family I have left. I would not have taken out a female reticulated python if I was not prepared for it. The truth is I have an entire zoo if I could afford it and manage it. My house is almost like a zoo already with 5 snakes of three different species, two dogs, and a colony of African soft fur rats. I do have a girlfriend that enjoys taking care of them as much as I do but I'm perfectly capable of doing it on my own. I'm 42 years old and in great health.

Nice! My animals are my family too. I'm 39 w/no kids. So my 4 snakes, 4 ferrets, cat and 2 fish tanks are all my animal family. Love them to death, they keep me sane most days, hahahaha
