Ok i have a question how can you get the temptures high and keep them high do you use lights or heating pad or the heat rope or what? i need help im getting one tomorrow and need to to know how to heat the tank thank. Aaron
don't have any reptiles apartment says no.

Your getting your snake tomorrow and you dont know how your going to heat the cage ???
Im not tryin to jumnp all over you but......its always nice to prepare before you get a new snake, esp when its somthing that important

ballpythonandragon ... seeing has how the topic where this post originally was is almost 6 months old, i spilt it into a new topic. Please consider just asking your question to the community at large rather than digging up a 6 month old thread.
As for heating, i would suggest a heating pad to start off with. You will more than likely need to measure your temps not only at the ground level, but also higher up in the cage near whatever apparatus you decide to give your ATB to climb on.

Brandon.O im with you, he should have figured this all out. but at least hes still trying.
like led said, a UTH (simple human heat pad) on the floor, and youll probly need some form of light for the top. i would use the red reptibulbs, since then you wouldnt have to switch bulbs every day.

alright im using a 100 wat day light for him during the day and at night im using the blue night glo light 75 watt. It keep the day in the 80s and the night in the 70s im thinking about addding a UTH also does the temps sound right and do they move to where the warmer temps are when they need to? Im using a 20 gallon long untill i get a tank orderd also doe any of you know of a good tank for Tree boas and tree pythons? thanks Aaron
