Taxi was ground breaking being among the first one-set shows with Cheers to follow. To me the characters of Louis De Palma and Jim Ignatowski were two of the best written characters to date. The episodes where Jim is taking his driver's license or the one when Latka is making his "special" cookies, Christopher Lloyd was amazing. And Danny DeVito couldn't have made Louie any more of a worm.

Absolutely agree! WHAT.....DOES.....A....YELLOW....LIGHT....MEAN? That episode never gets old! It's a really special show- I wish there were more like it!
