Re: How do I stop my Burm peeing in her warm hide and laying in it?

Mine did it a few nights ago and almost seemed proud of himself (same thing, warm side hide and he was laying in it)....then he wasn't happy when I had to wash him off in the bathroom sink after I replaced his paper in the cage.

Last night I had to play "I want the rat", "I don't want the rat" for about a half hour with him.....he's JUST starting to go opaque so I was skeptical that he would eat. After quite a bit of time reheating the rodent and trying to coerce him out of his hide I gave up and left it in the cage.....and he ate the cold rodent without movement about an hour after I walked away. Little bugger...
