Today, I have encountered a hair ball in my ball python tub. I have heard that this happens but any cause of this? Or will I see this frequently? recently changed to rat appropriate size for him. It was not mixed with any urate or poop, just a soft hair ball itself. He did poop two days ago and had no problem. I know this is not to worry but what actually causes this? Temperature? Or just snake not being good at digesting furs? One weird thing is the fur color does not match what I fed him lol I thought that was some creature in the tub lol.
