    Next time try heating it well. Once the rat is thawed out I put the rat in a ziplock bag and then into a bowl of warm water for about 15-20 minutes. my bp likes her food extra warm so maybe that's how yours likes it. Try wiggling the rat a little more too. Hope that helps and that your bp eats for you!

    Thanks. That's usually how I do it. It seems to only take food every other week. When it does eat it snatched the food within seconds. Would getting a slightly bigger size mouse or rat be ok? I'm heading to the pet store in a bit.
