Hi, I know after a corn snake eats there is a very large, noticeable lump in their body where the food is, but with balls, having thicker bodies, how noticeable is the lump supposed to be? How much larger are they supposed to look after feeding? Anyone have any post-feeding pics?

    Thanks

As long as you're feeding them a food item that is 1-1.5 times the thickness of their body, you shouldn't have to worry about a visible lump. Ever since I've switched to weaned rats, I notice a nice sized lump in Pelota's belly. Nothing to worry about. I don't think a bp would eat anything too big for them. They know what they can handle.

If you do not notice at least a small lump immediately after feeding you may want to consider feeding a little bit larger food item.
