    Bob eat it but was it to big?

    It looks like it was almost too big for him but he ate it anyway?

    How much does he weigh and what size did you feed? You may need to skip next weeks feeding if it was too big.

    He is 250 grams. Was a 60 gram rat.

    He is always looking for more but not tonight. He is curled up in his warm hide

    He should be on pups and that was a small rat. I would wait two weeks to feed again. That's more than twice his weigh in food size. And do not handle him for 5 days. It will take him longer to digest and he should stay in his warm hide for longer too.

    What do other people think?

    I say thats over double the size for a 250 gram Ball. Usually 20grams to 30 max.

    smaller rats, just fully furred, but still young and small. I think they are called "weaned rats"

    Yup, way too big.

    Prey size= 10-15% of the snakes body weight. Not 25%
