Dante is flipping out!

Not sure if it is well known or not but barometric pressure changes and/or storms can cause behavioral changes in some snakes. We are getting record breaking rainfall here in the mid south and while my GTP and rosy are both not caring one bit about changes, Dante my 7 year old male is going nuts over these storms. He has pretty much become nonstop locomotive of movement from sun up to sun down which is not his typical behavior.

I can't wait until this rain stops and I can have a normal snake back

I saw on Brain's vlog that storms are the perfect time to breed maybe his just looking for love in all the wrong places 😊 and I hear you it's been raining nonstop here for a while lots of flooding good luck with your noodle and stay safe

Last time we were getting a really bad wind storm/hurricane/snow storm (I live in Northern Connecticut, it can happen), Shayna was totally on edge too. I didn't think about it and went to pick her up and she was totally spooked.

She doesn't even strike at rats 90% of the time, but I thought for sure she as going to nail me. Even after I picked her up, when she is usually a totally docile puppy dog, she couldn't sit still and was darting her head around, etc.

I put her right back so she would relax.
