The male has a longer skinnier tail, the female is stubbier and shorter, additionally if you look from the side there is a dip in the tail right behind the cloaca which you do not see with males.Originally Posted by Sunnieskys
It's really something you develop the more you look a them (it's very obviously with adult), young ones out of the egg it might take a trained eye.
