    new ball python story/feeding thoughts?

Hello everyone long story short I just acquired a ball python from a guy who bought it for his daughter 6 months ago from a reptile show to take home to moms house but she said hell no! I have had snakes before such as corn and king snakes but this is my first ball python. I quickly learned everything the previous owner was doing was all wrong such as husbandry. I received the snake is a glass terrarium with screen top which i know is very bad for them. I do now have 3/4 of the top covered up with plexiglass. I already have a animal plastics T3 cage picked out but they are 10-12 weeks out! I thought about going to the T8 which is 48in long and getting the divider because they are only 10-14 days out. when I received the snake a few days ago she was in horrible shed. I did the towel bath which got her to shed perfectly the next day. So now for the reason Im here. they gave me the rest of the frozen hopper mice which she should have been eating something larger according to mid body size. I fed her two of those 3 days ago. should I finish those off and feed her more frequently or just go get something bigger? I have 5 left. thanks in advance and also any input on waiting 12 weeks for the T3 or ordering the T8 with divider?

Honestly I would do the T10. Just a little higher than the t8 but it will be easier to clean.

For the hoppers. How much does your snake weigh? And yes finish the hoppers and move up in size. It will depend on the weight of your snake to figure out what size to go to.

Feed off those little things then grab the correct size feeder.. Also you'll be sorry not getting a 4' enclosure. You do not need a divider in a Either for a ball python and id get the T10. The extra 3" means a lot because the T8's tiny doors make it hell trying to get your elbow/arm in there to clean. T8 Interior is around 11" and door ia 8" vs t10 interior 14" and 10" doors. Get yourself 2 medium RBI hides and a 5 quart water bowl from Tractor Supply or Country Max etc and your Humidity will be easier to control with how much water you put in the bowl...
Buy the T10 and have it for the life if the snake.

As far as weight I will have to get a special scale for that to tell. what do you think about feeding again after 3 days? she definitely seems to be hungry. every time I go to the cage she pops her head out. And what about moving to a rubbermaid style container until the new cage comes in. currently in the glass cage hot side its about 85-90 degrees and the cold side is 75 with 53% humidity

A hopper is 8-11g so you can feed one every three days I would think. Definitely get a scale. I got mine on Amazon. Digital kitchen scale that goes to 5000g. I think I paid $12 or some small price.
