Thanks! I had heard and read that bp’s can be picky eaters, shy, jumpy, etc. She doesn’t fit any of those stereotypes. At the store she was in the same enclosure as a Pin. The employee took the other one out and I said no, I want to see the yellow one. As I reached in, she turned and crawled right onto my hand. When I put her back in the enclosure (I had to come back and pick her up after work) she turned towards me and came back over to the glass (first photo below). Since I got her on Tuesday, she comes to my hand when she spots me and is content to wrap around my fingers and just rest on my palm. Not shy, not jumpy, good eater. In spite of stereotypes, they really do each have their own personality. And I think she loves me.
I had also read about their tendency to skip a meal or fast at times, and usually around winter months.

Good you did your research. Yeah, BP's skipping meals is part of owning BP's, often times anyways.
Much harder on us than it is on them!
