Neodesha Stackables?
So, I have an order in with AP which is still many weeks from showing up. And I made the classic mistake of slightly over-buying a few new pythons, so now I had to do a little scrambling to cover everybody. Neodesha has a fairly short turnaround time (call it 6-7 business days total) and, although I've never been a fan of their slanted styles, they now have stackables. Anyone have these or have experience with the quality? I figure if they rock, I'll move em in with the rest of my set-up, if not they will just be designated QT for new stock. They seem to have an interesting side mount feature for ceramic or light elements, although I'm planning on flexwatting since I prefer belly heat. Anyone? Loves, Hates, Mehs??
Cheers,
Kat

Neodesha experience
I've got 6 of them, 2 stacks of 3, and it's a love-hate relationship. Mine are the 36" with the bar light, not the angled heat lamp dock.
Love: looks professional, securely stackable, sliding glass doors work well for containing super-fast snakes, hold decent humidity, stackable up to 4 high safely per Bruce Edelman, lightweight, easy to clean, drillable if needed, proportions are great
Hate: very short bedding dam, locking pins don't line up on 2 of them and are difficult to insert/remove on another 2, stacking the stackable cages makes accessing the pins difficult for larger fingers because of clearance.
Be aware: there is a small gap at the top of the sliding glass doors that is large enough for a determined 60+ gram corn to wiggle out of
Solutions: for the gap, fold up cardboard and stuff it in the space between the doors, making sure you push it up against the top door track; for the dam and pin issues, I bought wooden yardsticks for $1, cut them to length needed for each side of bottom tracks, spray painted them black and tada...instant litter dam, secure door closure, and looks really good. (So I don't use the pins)
FOR ME, the 3 foot size is great for several species, the delivery time is wonderful, very easy to attach tape or mats,
BUT shipping is a killer...I wish they could be picked up at shows within a 7 hour drive of Buffalo NY (Ohio, NJ, NYC, MASS, PA).

Re: Neodesha Stackables?
I only have the 24 inch stackables (along with some of the sloped-front standards). I love these cages as displays. IMO, best material out there. Heating is so versatile and easy. Some of my standards are 10+ years old and look perfect.
The larger NPIs are costly to ship..

Here is an image of one of my 24" stackables. Just a great cage. Nothing flimsy about it, best ventilation setup, best screens, best everything IMO. Molded-in feet so a heat pad/tape can be attached to the bottom w/o touching the floor. I am so glad they came out with these.
