I always look at mine and wonder what's going through her mind. Probably "Wait waduhek where is the door oh there it is okiedokie welp lemme crawl in but I look derpy"
We've got a roamer on our hands. She was being quite active today so I took her out to explore for a while. She hates getting taken out of her tank, but seems to enjoy being out.
1) I always recommend covering the back, top and two sides of glass enclosures with cardboard or some other thick, dark paper. Tape it to the OUTSIDE of the enclosure (no tape or any other sticky things ever go inside) to provide your snake with more security. If you live somewhere temps and humidity are tougher in the winter months using 1/2" foam board insulation helps a lot for security as well as being a huge help with temp and humidity control.
2) You're also gonna want to ditch that half log at some point. They are open at 2 ends and provide BPs with little to no security. BPs typically outgrow them pretty quickly as well.
They are also untreated wood and can harbor mold.
Anyway, she seems to be settling in pretty well. Looking good.
