You sure it was a worm and not organs? If it was a worm then the source your are getting your rodents from is substandard. I would change sources and choose a more reputable feeder source. Thankfully a completely frozen rodent should not have any adult parasites or ovum left alive.

These are all top quality rodent supply vendors that would never sell compromised feeders.
Pretty sure it was a worm. It looked identical to a worm that came out of a kitten I owned decades ago. Like a fat piece of rice. The amount of rodents I watched these guys sell made me believe they were reputable. I'll just have to a bit more research before buying again. Pi is ready for the next size up anyway. This was a hopper. I underestimated his size when I bought him because he was so small in my hand. I got home and was shocked when he got comfortable and" stretched" out.
