i have a few pics again. i always have pictures... haha, i swear, one day i'll be considered a "spammer" because of allll the pictures i post.

Pandora ate a HUGE rat tonight. i had my family over for Thanksgiving (my moms side) and i had to feed her tonight because my uncle wanted to see. they were mostly going for Apollo.. but, he has cloudy eyes and he's really grey. yay, first shed with me!!!

Anywho, i tried feeding him a live mouse, and i had the tongs ready in case something happened. Apollo was scared of it, since he couldn't see. the mouse then started trying to nip at Apollo, and i got mad at it; when i picked the mouse up, it lunged at Apollo (and missed) and then lunged at me. the stupid thing bite my thumb, so i decided it needed to die. my cousins were around me, watching intently.. so i showed them a nice way to kill a mouse. i put it in a pillow case and smacked it against the wall. the crack was kind of odd sounding... but when i opened the pillow case up, the mouse twitched a few times then stopped moving. i tried seeing if Apollo would eat it like that, but he was clearly not interested (the mouse was alive, just knocked out). i gave it to Pandora, she loved it.

So.. onto why im making this post. the pet store only had one size rat today and it was the large kind that i showed in my previous post. she had to work hard, and i didnt think she could do it... but now she's all fat and too stuffed to move.



and.. i'm amazed at how drastically Apollo's colors change when he's in shed. i never noticed with Pandora because she's not as light as him.. but check out the comparison
