If I have learned anything from my baby scrub python, it’s that he calls the shots. All of them. He decides when play time starts, when it ends, and where he goes in between. It has to be his idea to come out of his hide, so I sometimes turn it upside down in my lap and sit with him till he’s ready for hugs Eventually, he will come out to see what the heck is going on.
