    BP will chose security over regularization, So if the perfect temps are provided on one end but there is no security they will chose security over the proper temps and vice versa.

    YOUR job is to provide proper husbandry which includes security and proper temps to prevent issues whether it's from being too hot such as burns or too cold which can lead to respiratory issues.

    It is well known that even a hot spot becomes too hot even to the burning point a BP will not and burn itself.
