How well can a BP detect other snakes around them?

Recently I decided to start keeping ball pythons again and pulled out my old pvc enclosures to set up for them.
As I started cleaning I noticed some stuck shed and urates that I hadn't scrubbed off when I put them away and it got me thinking about how well a bp can smell or 'taste' another snake.

Tomorrow I have a hatchling showing up and want to know; how clean does the cage have to be and will the smell of another snake in their area spook a young snake?

Also, I have F10SC and F10SCXD I believe the XD is the stronger, more deep cleaning one whereas the SC is not harmful to the animal but would like clarification on uses for both

    Thanks

they have incredible olfactory senses, including a forked tongue, so I would say they are very keenly aware of other animals nearby, or the smell of other snake's bodily excretions.

As long as the cage is cleaned normally even with diluted F10 solution and has no excrement, it'll be fine. I haven't seen signs of stress in any of mine when they outgrow or switch up cages.
