Welcome to the digital age 
Analog can be accurate but the cost of those type of scales is ridiculous when a cheap digital can give you accuracy to the gram.
Don't forget that if you want to check the calibration of your digital scale and you aren't some science nerd that has expensive calibrated weights, an unadulterated clean US nickel weighs 5 grams.
